Presidency School

We at PSMNG believe that excellence is not limited to academics, but also inculcating values that will help prepare your child to lead a meaningful life.
The following tenets form the basis of our ‘Life School’ philosophy.

We believe that learning is a lifelong companion that helps your child to find fulfillment and satisfaction. Hence, we do not merely impart knowledge, but instill in your child the love for learning and the passion to excel. After all, an enriching life is more than just academic success!

We ensure that your children receive exceptional intellectual, personal, emotional and social grooming, thus preparing them for all of life’s challenges.

We believe that every child has the potential to excel. And this potential is unleashed when their hidden talents are discovered and nurtured through world-class learning facilities and plenty of opportunities.

Learning is a continuous process and it cannot be restricted to the confines of an institution. We encourage children to look at learning beyond their classrooms, develop a thirst for knowledge and a passion for excellence.

A curriculum that focuses on maximum growth for your child

Elementary education is the basis for the child’s future and determines his/ her success in life. At Presidency, we believe that children must receive a thorough grounding of whatever concepts they learn and that this learning has to be integrated with life. The motto of the school is, ‘maximum growth of each learner’.

Therefore, all Presidency Schools have a self-designed curriculum, which has evolved after years of research and expertise. The curriculum is based on a Thematic or Integrated approach to studying.

Our methodology of teaching is best explained through the four stages of schooling your child goes through.

A stage when your toddler is curious about everything around him

At the kindergarten level, we follow the Integrated Montessori approach. This approach seeks to sensitize toddlers to the learning environment, by reaching out to their intelligence and understanding their unique talents.Toddlers are quick to learn things through their interaction with the environment around them. Which is why, we introduce experiential learning at this early stage itself. This nurtures their curiosity and helps develop their cognitive and analytical skills.

Fun is an important aspect of learning for tiny tots. So we ensure that there isn’t a dull moment in their day at PSMNG.

A powerful and pleasing kindergarten environment that nurtures your child’s curiosity

  • A lush green landscaped 6.5 acre campus
  • Spacious, well ventilated and scientifically designed classrooms

  • Scientific visual learning aids
  • Outdoor activity and play areas dedicated to the kindergarteners, including sand pits, water play area, etc.

The Elementary Section

Learning is exploring, experimenting and responding.

This is the next rung of the ladder. Along the corridor are grades I to IV.There is a buzz of excitement and activity in the air. Following the latest pedagogical trends, the Thematic Inter-disciplinary approach has been adopted at this level. The curriculum encourages children to explore their interests, as they move gradually from the familiar to the unknown. Adequate scope is given for creativity and self expression, and social skills of adaptability and team work.
The curriculum addresses the uniqueness of each child and provides exposure beyond the academic. Role-play, dance, music and field trips, sports and a range of hobby interests add new dimensions to the growth of the child.
Our faculty is experienced in the fields of early childhood education and child development. All members of staff also participate in continuous in-service training by experienced trainers, and take part in curriculum design and implementation, assessment strategies and classroom management, as well.An effective and encouraging primary school environment that stimulates your child’s mind and body

Middle School

Social interaction, taking on responsibility – Moving in the direction of self discipline.

The Middle school, grades V – VIII, challenges learners with a broader curriculum, to lay the foundation for the High School Academic programme. Study skills are honed, concepts taught are thoroughly grounded and resourcefulnessand commitment to work are encouraged, while group work and interacting with classmates cater to growing social awareness.
Induction into the House system helps to inculcate loyalty, and team spirit. Use of the well stocked library for project work enhances habits of self study. The spectrum of extra-curricular activities gives immense scope for talents to surface in dramatics, music, art, dance, games and sports. Each student’s talent is channeled through a range of hobby clubs. Field trips and excursions form a part of this process. We have adopted the CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation) initiative by CBSE in its right spirit. With CCE, learning is an enjoyable experience and teachers resort to a variety of tools to access children in various subjects. Tests and examinations now become a part of the assessment methodology and parents are kept appraised of the child’s academic progress and encouraged to interact with teachers.“Maximum growth for each learner” is the professed motto at this level.
