Presidency School Mangalore
Established in 2001, Presidency School, Mangalore, is another jewel in the crown of Presidency Group. It is affiliated to CBSE senior secondary School. The School, cosmopolitan in its approach, believes in inculcating the spirit of the secularism in the children and preparing them for the challenges of the present century.
The distinctive character of the school is to provide world-class education, in a learning environment that is innovative, challenging and enterprising. Presidency School, Mangalore, initially started at Bikarnakatte, has shifted to its own state-of-the-art campus at Kelarai. The new campus situated on a hillside, spread over 12 acres, in a picturesque locale, presents a scenic and serene ambience, overlooking the hills and the valley. The campus has an academic block, an admin block facilities for indoor and outdoor games including sports field for cricket, football, hockey, basketball,a skating rink, a tennis court, a running track and a swimming pool.
In addition, extra curricular activities like music, Dance, various clubs etc. have also been incorporated in the curriculum to promote and encourage the inherent talents in the student.

Infrastructure
Presidency School, Mangalore, spread over 12 acres of land in a picturesque locale, presents a scenic and serene ambience, overlooking the hills and the valley. The state-of-the-art campus has an academic block, an admin block, sports field for cricket, football, hockey, basketball, skating rink and a swimming pool.
Classrooms are large and airy with abundant natural light to provide the right ambience for an effective learning experience at school. A noticeboard is provided in every Classroom, which is decorated by both teachers and students for different events throughout the academic year. All Classrooms are equipped with student lockers.
School has a well stocked library including digital resources. A wide range of books aims to help children rediscover the joy of reading. A very extensive references section helps students work on multi-dimensional projects. the library has a great collection of fiction, non – fiction and reference books.
School has well equipped Science, Computer and Math labs.
In School’s cafeteria a wide variety of hygienically prepared hot and nutritious food is available at a reasonable price.
Academic Year
The academic year for the calendar is programmed from June to April, with brief recesses between academic terms. The academic year is compartmentalized into two semesters for all levels of School with the first semester commencing from June and the second from October / November.
